Its careers site not having changed dramatically in about 10 years, Fortune 500 medical technology firm Stryker is live with a mobile-friendly, more candidate-friendly relaunch.
It took about six months to put the site together, talent acquisition leader Jeff Batuhan tells me. It could’ve gone a little more quickly, but Stryker wanted to test it heavily and make sure the links and all else worked for candidates.
The site first launched internally. Stryker’s been telling employees that the site isn’t radically different, but will result in happier job candidates, with a better search, on multiple devices, and fresher content.
“While mobile wasn’t terrible,” Batuhan says of the last site, “it was not very good.”
Next Stryker will be spreading the word externally, such as to candidates on social media.
I’ve taken some screenshots of the new site, with some notes, below.
