Remember that Brand Amper company I mentioned six months ago?
It’s hiring a developer, as well as a client manager. And clearly it doesn’t care how long they’ve been working.
In fact, says one of the job descriptions, “We don’t give a rat’s butt about how many years you’ve been working—what we want to know is if you can do the job.”
Co-founder Jason Seiden put the job descriptions together himself.
“It took about 10 minutes,” he says. “Culture is everything, so we wanted job descriptions that would give people a sense for who our company is, that they’d either love or hate. We’re too small to build a huge funnel because we don’t have the resources to filter bad fit candidates — we need those to opt out right at the top of the funnel.”
The other job description, while not mentioning the backside of any rodents, does start off quite differently from your run-of-the-mill job description (see image below).
