Dr. Cotton has overseen assessments of more than 175,000 applicants for Fortune 250s such as CSX and Honeywell. He has consulted with multiple other Fortune 500s and various prestigious DoD organizations including DuPont, Service Master, Flowserve, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Naval Special Warfare Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, and Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. He is a published researcher with numerous academic awards and earned a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Memphis. Dr. Cotton is the creator of the Elite Performance Indicator competency and personality test (EPiTesting.com), co-author of the best seller The Talent War, and a founding Board Member of AFGfree.org a nonprofit supporting refugees from Afghanistan and Ukraine.
