The Best Free Job Sites…
eQuest has come out with a list of what it thinks are the best free job boards, measuring several technology indicators that calculate overall candidate traffic patterns and job board advertising effectiveness.
The list includes Jobster, The Ladders, GoogleBase, SimplyHired, and Indeed.com.
In its analysis of the most effective free posting websites in the United States, eQuest says it eliminated job boards that distribute its database of jobs to other job sites to artificially increase their candidate traffic flow.
Adicio’s Reverse Publishing…
Adicio has launched a new “reverse publishing” feature to Adicio Careers 7.0, which essentially presents advertisers who are posting ads online with an option to also place their ad in print, giving online and print the opportunity to work in tandem.
The company says this choice gives advertisers “one seamless transaction” and additional value.
Travis Fisher, the company’s general manager, points out that this service may provide an opportunity for its clients to earn additional revenue through online and print ad bundled packages.
Monster Launches Video Profiles…
Through help with its partner MadDash E-Media, Monster is looking to bring streaming video into job postings.
Monster says videos might provide job seekers unique insights into an employer during the early stages of the application process.
“Video integrated into postings allows customers a differentiated way to display their brand and culture while providing job candidates the opportunity to make more informed decisions when applying for jobs,” explains Michael Madden, Monster’s senior vice president.
Video options include features such as in-depth company profiles, company snapshots of the culture or benefits, and day-in-the-life presentations.
